I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Administration at Ryerson University, in Toronto, Ontario.
My scholarly interests include a variety of questions related to the study of the attitudes, motivations and behaviours of voters and non-voters at the federal and municipal levels in Canada.
I am the Principal Investigator of the Canadian Municipal Election Study, as well as the 2014 Toronto Election Study. I am a co-investigator on the Electronic Elections Project. I hold an Early Researcher Award from the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation and Science.
I received my Ph.D. in political science from the University of Western Ontario. I also have an M.A. in political science from the University of Waterloo, and a BSc. (Eng.) in biological engineering from the University of Guelph.
